Trained internationally, Ruwan has had the opportunity to work in the industry, worldwide. Starting his career in Srilanka, he then made the move to London England to study Hospitality at the University of Sunderland, while working as a Chef-de-Partie in a 5 star hotel. Three years later, his journey took him to Canada, where he started working at North44 and the Hilton.

Wanting to take his career to the next level, Ruwan enrolled in the Advanced French Patisserie program at George Brown College. Through this program, he was able to refine all of the knowledge he had gained from his experience in the kitchens of hotels, casinos and international airlines. All of Ruwan's experience has made him a well-rounded chef who isn't afraid to go the extra mile.
